LONDON - For all their time on the worlds biggest tennis stage — Roger Federer in 24 Grand Slam finals and Novak Djokovic in 13 — two of the sports "Big 4" have met in only one major final: Federer won in straight sets at the 2007 U.S. Open. Theyll renew their rivalry in a championship match at Wimbledon on Sunday and equal a Grand Slam record. Its the 12th time theyve met in any round of a major, equaling Djokovics duel with Rafael Nadal in majors. Watch all the action live on TSN and TSN GO, and you can listen to the match on TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto. Federer leads Djokovic 6-5 in Grand Slams tournaments, including a win the only time theyve met at Wimbledon — Federer prevailing in four sets in the 2012 semifinals, the only time theyve met on grass. The Swiss star holds an 18-16 edge in career matches, although Djokovic has won three of five matches theyve played since 2013, including this year on clay at Monte Carlo. Federer is making his first appearance in a Grand Slam final since he won here in 2012, and has done it emphatically — dropping just one set in six matches. Here are five other things to know about Sundays match on Centre Court at the All England Club: TOP RANKING: A victory by Djokovic will return him to the No. 1 ranking for the first time since September of last year, taking over from Nadal. Djokovic first rose to No. 1 when he won his only Wimbledon title in 2011, although he was already guaranteed of securing the top ranking even before beating Nadal in the final. NOT THIS TIME: Defending champion Andy Murray, who lost to Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals here, or Nadal, who was beaten by Nick Kyrgios in the fourth round, had featured in 18 consecutive Grand Slam finals. DOMINATION CONTINUES: The final match-up guarantees that 36 of the past 38 Grand Slam singles titles have gone to a member of the Big 4 — Federer, Djokovic, Murray and Nadal. For trivia buffs, the ones they didnt win: the 2005 French Open (Juan Martin del Potro) and this years Australian Open (Stan Wawrinka). NOVAK SAYS: "We know each others games. Most of the matches weve played against each other went the distance, so Im going to be physically ready and fit. The key against him is trying to not allow him to dictate too much because he likes to be very aggressive, he likes to come to the net. Im going to have to be able to get as many returns back in the court and try to also stay closer to the line, protect the baseline." ROGER SAYS: "We both like to take charge, especially on quicker courts. He has a wonderful way of either re-directing or taking the ball early, taking pace from the opponent, even generating some of his own. Theres not really a safe place you can play into. Novak can hurt you down the line or cross-court on both sides. Hes really improved ... his forehand, his serve, his movement clearly is what stands out the most. I think for me its really important to stay aggressive." Brandan Wright Jersey . Jimmy Howard made 44 saves and Henrik Zetterberg scored two goals, leading the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. Ben McLemore Jersey . made a diving catch in left field for the final out in a 1-0 victory over the Miami Marlins in a regular-season finale Sunday. Zimmermann (14-5) allowed only two baserunners, finishing with 10 strikeouts and one walk in the fifth no-hitter in the majors this year. http://www.thegrizzliesofficial.com/Aut ... es-Jersey/. First reported by FOX Sports Ken Rosenthal, its unknown if the impetus for the deferral proposal came from players or management, but it never left the preliminary stages. Wade Baldwin Jersey . Still, Milan remained five points behind city rival Inter Milan in the race for fifth place and the final Europa League berth, after Inter beat 10-man Parma 2-0. Meanwhile, Paul Pogba led the way as Juventus stayed on course for a third consecutive title with a 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Bologna. Tyreke Evans Jersey .com) - Houston Texans interim head coach Wade Phillips confirmed Monday that starting quarterback Case Keenum sustained a sprained right thumb during Sundays 25-3 loss in Indianapolis.ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Though the Minnesota Wild havent been scoring much this season, theyve limited opponents scoring opportunities better than any team in the NHL. They overwhelmed the Dallas Stars on both ends of the rink on Saturday night. Rookies Justin Fontaine and Mathew Dumba both scored their first NHL goals and Josh Harding made 18 saves for his second straight win as the Wild beat the Stars 5-1. The Wild came in giving up a league-low 22.0 shots per game, and they kept the pressure off Harding, who was filling in for injured starter Niklas Backstrom. Two nights after stopping 14 of 15 shots in a 2-1 win over Winnipeg, Harding faced only 19 shots as the Wild controlled play from the opening faceoff. "Theyre doing a nice job on the other end of the rink," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "Theyve got a lot of good puck possession and theyre winning the battle of the possession clock in their own end." Minnesota also blocked 10 shots and had 15 takeaways -- compared to just three for the Stars -- as they repeatedly frustrated Dallas attempts to sustain any offensive momentum. "Weve talked about how we want to be a puck-possession team and how defending is a lot easier when you have the puck," Wild coach Mike Yeo said. "I like the way that we defend. I like the structure that we have. But, again, wed much rather force them to defend than put ourselves in that position." Dallas also was playing with its backup goalie as starter Kari Lehtonen was injured in a 4-1 win at Winnipeg on Friday. His replacement, Dan Ellis, struggled with Minnesotas offensive barrage, allowing five goals on 36 shots to a team that had scored just nine goals in four previous games. The Wild jumped ahead with the fastest goal to start a game in team history, as Fontaine put Minnesota on the board just 12 seconds in. Matt Cooke scooped up a loose puck off a Stars turnover in the high slot and fed it to Fontaine, who fell to his knees but feathered a back-hander past Ellis. "Thats a rolling back-hander. I was just trying to throw it on the net." Fontaine said. "Those are tricky they say for the goaltenders. Im just glad it wwent in.dddddddddddd" Cooke doubled the lead midway through the first, beating Ellis on a wrap-around after stealing the puck from defenceman Alex Goligoski behind the net off a faceoff. "We kind of gave them a two-goal lead there, just sloppy plays," Goligoski said. We never really got going after that. We kind of got outplayed all over the rink. ... We got off on the wrong foot tonight and it just kind of spiraled from there." Minnesota missed a couple of chances to expand its lead, as Kyle Brodziak and Cooke each came away empty on short-handed breakaways during a nearly four-minute Dallas power play. But the Wild broke through with two goals in two minutes midway through the second period to take a 4-0 lead. Dumba, the seventh overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, scored his first career goal on a Minnesota power play, beating Ellis with a wrist shot from the left faceoff circle off a pass from Dany Heatley. Nino Niederreiter then scored off a wide-angle shot that handcuffed Ellis at the left post. Dallas countered with a power-play goal by Jordie Benn to cut the deficit to 4-1 at 12:40 of the second period, but Zach Parise scored a power-play goal for the Wild late in the third period to restore the four-goal cushion and keep the Stars at arms length. "What I liked is how we executed in the third period," Yeo said. "We werent just chipping pucks out, chipping pucks in, we were still making tape-to-tape plays. We were still executing. When we were defending, we werent just trying to be in good position. We were getting after them. We were being aggressive from good position." NOTES: Backstrom and Lehtonen are both considered day-to-day with their injuries. ... Minnesota has outshot its opponents in all five games this season, while the Stars have been outshot in all four of their games. Minnesota has a 67-25 shot advantage in the second period. ... Dallas F Shawn Horcoff played in his 800th NHL game. ... Harding is 24-9-2 in his career at Xcel Energy Center and has won six of his last seven home starts. ... Alex Chiasson, who assisted on Benns goal, has a point in every game this season.
